Construction

The lack of adequate safety measures, poor training and pressure to meet the deadlines are among the major causes of occupational accidents on construction sites.

The number of accidents in construction sector workplaces is above average, with accidents causing bone fractures, spinal injuries, burns and head injuries, and, in the most serious cases, death

Puglia Region has launched a programme, in partnership with local health authorities, to implement concrete actions aimed at preventing occupational accidents and promoting the health of workers in the construction sector, bringing together safety experts, employers and employees.

The working groups have developed a questionnaire on how workers perceive risk and a self-assessment form for businesses. See the attached documents.

Crash! Boom! Smash! Those are comic-book sound effects we never want to hear in real life.
Let's write a different story—one about preventing injuries in the construction workplace.
